I am new to SEO and have a question. For one keyword one of my health blog is ranking #1 in Google search, but I am getting very less traffic with Alexa of 279K+ for that health blog. The keyword is phrase of 2 words and it is showing 60,000+ searches a month and global search of 50,000 in this tool https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal. Why I may be getting less traffic? can anyone explain.
    Thanks

Do an "Exact" match type and bet that number will drop down dramatically.

As Feathers said, you should always be setting the Match Type dropdown to EXACT when using that tool to get estimated search query volume. You'll get much more accurate results.

Also, ranking #1 for a keyword doesn't guarantee that people are going to click-thru to your site. If your <title>, the snippet, and/or the URL don't look like they match the search query then users will be less likely to click on it even though you rank #1.

Additionally, if your URL ranks #1 for a search query and your site is not a "brand" that people recognize, yet the #2, #3, #4, and/or #5 positions are occupied by "brand" sites, those brand sites, generally speaking, are going to be more likely to get click-thrus than your site that ranks #1.
