I have a website- specifically a guide to Atlanta Georgia... for my keywords should I use for example: Atlanta Concerts, or just Concerts. Which would be better for driving traffic?
Atlanta concerts would be MUCH easier to target than just concerts. You would be competing against ticketmaster.com and the likes and they can afford to hire an SEO team.
Use Adwords Keyword Tool to research best keywords for your website https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal Just enter your main keyword and check the results - u can use all the generated keywords or just those with higher searches.
Good Suggestion Buddy.................. by the way you may use GA ATlanta, in place of only Atlanta....if im not wrong ????
You should do keywords research. http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/ http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/ Then you need to see what your site is about like "Atlanta Concerts" Then you make long tail keywords of "Atlanta Concerts" and what your site is about. http://www.marketinghub.info/long-tail-versus-short-tail-keywords/ => site explain well All the best..
Thanks for all your input. One thing I have noticed is when I use the Google keywords tool they give some obvious 2 word keyword combinations but little or no three word combinations. It seems as though they provide little information when it comes to long tail keywords.
You can also make the combination for two...For example In Atlanta Concerts and just Concerts..u can make it "JustAtlanta Concerts"
