hi guys, i have promoted a site related to medical theme, and my site is coming from some keywords in google.co.in domain, but my client want result in google.com. can anyone one suggest me the right approach, how can i get my ranking of keywords in google.com instead of google.co.in. i am little bit confused thnx in advance
The site you're promoting should be written in clear correct english, it should have the correct TLD, so if it hasn't already get it a .com domain name Other signals you can give google are hosting on an american host and getting backlinks from american websites. make sure backlinks use english anchor text too. That should help, but be aware the american market is often far more competitive than others. Redo your keyword research but for Google.com and not google.co.in and re-evaluate whether you think you can achieve a good rank.
Depends on what the keywords are? The competetion of medical websites in google dot com is fierce. we have webmd, emedicine, health line, wheeles online, and loads of other sites which are already authority sites. can't list all of them. and the mighty wikipedia. also everyday there are new health sites coming up in USA. try long tail of keywords. also if your domain is .co . in - then you can try your level best & they will not rank in google dot com hosting is not that important IMO but who is linking to the site & from where is important and other link characteristics are important. what is your link generating strategy - if directory submission is all what you are doing then you have an uphill task. if you want we can have a look at your site and advise appropriately. That is if you want us too. will need a set of keywords that you are trying to rank. My friend has a niche medical site - might be able to do a link exchange that will be beneficial to you both. you just need more backlinks. also use social bookmarking sites or ads. you need visiters from other countries.
Visitors from other countries won't work as google is unable to determine what nationality or country your visitors are coming from, unless you're using G analytics, but I'm not sure whether they use that data to rank things properly. As for your "you just need more backlinks", I'm starting to get a little annoyed with people putting that for virtually every response they post. It shows little consideration of what the individual's problems are and hardly helps.
@ T media, sometimes I think posters like you just mentioned just do it to increase their post count - without contributing anything to the discussion!
You should do directory submission as well as article submission. Also you can do creating blog posting.
My 2nd suggestion is ur target keyword persent in title, meta keyword, meta description & in content.
