which one is good? link length: http://whatever.com/software-discus...le-management-application-protocol-switching/ or http://whatever.com/software-discussion/network-file-virtualization/ title length: Network File Virtualization or network file virtualization and file management application protocol switching any suggestion? example? is there any previous discussion about it? I can't find it in dp. hope anyone can help.
I agree.....Less is more Keep in mind that the more words you use in the title and URL, the harder it will be to match that pages content
I prefer to use best KW in Title uotp 45 Characters & try to take harder upto one or two parameters link. Like sub domain name or folder name bt with KW itself.
I don't believe on any effective meta suggested by robots anymore... Just have linkback and your site will appear on SE... no more analysis for title, description, etc... lots of busy sites don't even have keywords...
Im not sure what network file virtualization and file management application protocol switching is but would you be better of creating two page one dedicated to network file virtualization and another to file management application protocol switching if the two arn't totally reliant on each other.
With regards to link length: the shorter the better, use 3-4 keywords Title length: the shorter the better, use 3-4 keywords, then make it descriptive and direct to the point
Yeah, It's better that your link is descriptive and keywords included. It's very helpful not only for bots but also for human visitors.
IMO, it is advisable to have a 65characters in title including spaces where you can put set of KW just avoid repetitive KW
depends what you want to rank for go for the shorter url and optimise for other words in the onpage optimisation
want to know what is the minimum/maximum number of keywords that could contain a static link in order to be indexed by google??
shorter and meaningful the keyword the more better i have done a site which got pages like reservations.aspx?Hotel=Sachas-Hotel hotels.aspx?Town=Birmingham and it was giving best results, more than anything Live.com was loving it
Make your titles on whatever is most specific to that article. Don't write titels for Search Engines, write them for the content that is on that page. It will convert better in the long run anyway.
ith the tile you cosider the html file name also and anchor tag and img alt tag also will consider by the google
