SEO question on Directory links

    If the Directory link takes to Link Detail page!
    is that good for SEO for the directory?

    What is the use for the submitted link?

    The same way opening the link in a different window vs opening the link in the same window.
    SEO vs usefulness for the submitter

    any thoughts please.

    Does the detail page link to your site? If so then that is still a backlink to your site. As for the directory, it won’t have a negative effect on SEO, indirectly it could help.

    I tend to choose directories that link directly to my site.

    Opening a link in a new window is good if you want to keep the visitors on your site; many people click on a link that opens in the same window and forget the url of the original website.
