Is it good or bad (or neither) to link from the article body to its own url? I bought a Joomla interlinking plugin and you can specify the keywords that will be converted to urls. However, the plugin does not skip the actual url for which the keywords are specified so it often happens that the article has a link to its own url within its body.

I know people usually say it is good, but I am not so sure.

What is your opinion? Thank you

I'm also confused about this matter but i think it works just like Link Wheel.
But any experienced SEO answers will be appreciated.

If it is an on-site article, use the article keyword in the anchor text of the link. This can give your article a bit of link juice internally, as well have it credited for the keyword. If you have a plugin handling this automatically, make sure it isn't doing it for every keyword within the content body. Only once is enough. More than once can create internal link dilution.
