Hello all. I'm not clear with something. I know that if you have a text link on a website which points to your website then you have a text link. What happens when you have a small banner image on a website which points to our website? Is that considered a backlink? or it is not seen by search engines?
if the link is given like <a href="bla bla"><img src="image urls comes here" alt="bla bla"></a> , it will be considered a backlink and the anchor txt will be the value of alt tag
thank you trichnosis If for example you place a banner on a PR 4 page and there are also other 30 banners is there any advantage? You will receive the same value backlink like there were only 5 banners?
