SEO question about index page

    wow should I set my index page to the proper way that will increase my PR should I use <meta name="robots" content="index,nofollow"> or what are your recommendations?

    My recommendation is <meta name="robots" content="index, follow">. If you want to use the "NoFollow" you have to use the REL attribute.

    More importantly, make sure you have robots.txt in your web root. :)

    Yes it will helps you to increase google ranking.use a robot.txt will in your webroot.

    Well, IMO I'm not sure it will increase PR but it certainly makes your site more 'Google-friendly' and easier to index and tht's what we want:::: Google friendly sites. :)

    It would not help to increase your site PR, but it will make your site fulfill.
