i have a site that has lots of images.

it is well indexed by google and most of traffic comes from google image search.

like around 4000-5000 visitors a day from google image search alone..

now i want to change the address of all these images..

    if the old address is
    http://www.remote-domain.com/files/image.jpg
    Code (markup):
, my new address will be

    http://www.domain.com/files?i=http://www.remote-domain.com/files/image.jpg
    Code (markup):
As such i am planning to replace the addresses of all the images to the new address,.

the site is working fine and no images are broken ,...

but will the sudden change of all image address make google angry,.?
    will i be blacklisted?
will google image search stop showing my results since it thinks that all my images are changed from the time it has indexed my site and thereby not relavent to the indexed keywords?
will i lose my image search traffic?

    thanks in advance

I assume you meant to put your image files to some online file storage instead of keep them in your host. It does not make Google pissed off but it may effect your traffics from Google Image Search. I have no exprienced about this, but from my own observation - Most of images that show in the results are because of its domain power and the content around image. The change on image placement may dilute the domain power.

    That's right.
That redirection will send the Googleimage bot to the new domain and your ranking will eventually drop.

I suggest that you experiment with a few images before making any drastic change.

If the specific image is being searched for by a lot of web users on a daily basis and you are counting on the traffic shares, usually the solid and older status could still be great.
