SEO & PPC different

I know this might be a little elementary, but what is the main difference between SEO and PPC? Do you consider PPC to be part of SEO?

 

SEO consists of different ways of getting your website ranked higher in search results and it involves understanding how search engines work and what people are searching for whereas PPC involves paying for clicks when users click on an advert. However, both increase traffic to your website but SEO is alot more complicated because there is more to learn and lots of different ways to optimise your website.

 

ok fine you right but you know and what you think about more effactive more website traffic and top ranking for a long time result............

 

SEO and PPC is totally different. using seo you can increase your business and ppc is way to increase your money in your business.

both are increase the traffic but both principal is different.

 

SEO and PPC are both part of SEM but are completely different entities

SEO is how to build your web pages so that they rank high up in Google/search results.

PPC is advertising you pay for.

Both have a valid place in website development. SEO will cost you time/knowledge. PPC will cost you cash and knowledge.

 

I think he really needs to know the difference between them.

 

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization.. Which is optimizing your site to rank well in search engines.
And, PPC is Pay Per Click..

SEO & PPC both are good for internet marketing but most of the people prefer search engine optimization because organic seo is free. Never to pay in organic seo as compare to ppc you want to pay per click.
