I was using FF until IE beta 2 came out, but the only things I had running was the alexa/googlebar extension and the adsense extension.

Is that the plug-in that displays seo information when you hover over a link a yellow little square appears?

And with the three dots in the below-right corner?

I found it inaccurate and useless because the information is incorrect.

NO the plugin that I have given(the link in post 6) is awesome !!! it gives all information, when u right click on a page and select say seoopen->google->backlinks..so it will open a new tab, and show all backlinks. Same with yahoo and msn. :)

and ya, the "three dots" plugin sucks :( I am going to uninstall it.

SearchStatus and SEOpen are excellent extensions. I also use RankQuest toolbar (both for FF & IE), TargetAlert for rel="nofollow" checking, User Agent Switcher for detecting cloaking and InFormEnter for directory submission.

Anyone knows a plugin or tool for showing Yahoo & MSN cache?

Hi there. The plug-in is cool :) Thanks for that.
I wouldnt suggest you to upgrade to the newest version of firefox because all of the extensions you've installed wont be updated until some time.

So why not get back to ver1.5 here:
    http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/1.5/win32/en-US/Firefox Setup 1.5.exe

    :D

I have a very handy plugin for css and firefox.

I think it is called the "webmaster" plugin. Basically it allows you to disable all of or part of the css on your webpages you are viewing.

Handy to see exactly how the page works, and also if your competitors are using any BH techniques with css.

I agree with Brad about the Webmaster plug in. It is also useful for non-SEO situations where you just want to disable referrer headers for increased privacy. I think you can do this in the backend of FF anyway, but using this extension means that you can switch it on and off at will, which is useful as some sites (like your bank) may not be completely happy without referrer information).

Though I've been lurking around DP for a few months now, this is my first post. Just wanted to chime in on SEOpen - it ROCKS!!

I'd also like to suggest taking a look at a sidebar add-on I discovered recently - MetaTags Sidebar. I use it specifically for checking out competitors' pages. (Sorry for no link. Am too new to be able to post them...)

It also has a number of options I've yet to explore.

    Here's a partial description:

My personal favorite is here. Give me everything I want to know (no cache but thats a good idea) with a right click to a small button. I can even have it highlight nofollows which is helpful in a big way.
