Hi Guys, I am planning to create a product review blog about different products in different categories. I will post a review per product and link it to the certain product on my niche site. Is this a good idea? To cut the story short, the niche site pages will be the landing page. Then I will post comments on some blogs related to my niche to gain backlinks for my niche site.. Will I be able to get good traffic to search engine by doing this plan alone? Please advice, need your help... Thanks in advance...
I have tried what you are thinking about. I settled on just promoting the high converting products. A review site is good for testing multiple niche's though.
I'm thinking of another idea to make a general site like ecommerce instead of a niche site. and then Make a review site and review each product on the ecommerce site and link to the certain product. Do you think it's a good idea?
Treat as you would a regular blog and not as a means to just generate SE traffic. Write content frequently. Good luck.
writing good contents is just half the battle. you still have to promote them so it will be seen by the SE crawlers. i would say it will take a lot of work unless you will outsource
