    You should look at how much time it's going to take you and how much you would like to be paid per hour for a start....
    Then you can go into how competitive the keyword is etc...

    first check the hold on that company, i mean for how long the company is in market, ask for few results get it confirmed form the site owner.. etc

    I have not tried a professional work to make an SEO for any company that is why I am asking and your suggestion gives an idea on how to prize for an SEO work. Tobidotman suggestion is great.. HHmmm.. it will be a high prize for me :)

    there are many different ways to skin a cat...equally, there are just as many ways to charge for "SEO". Just be up front and honest about your pricing and services.

    You can quote on a monthly basis (consulting) or by keyword (you get paid based on keyword SERP achieved)
