I have been online for 3 months, and now I am finally starting to see search engine traffic. I got maybe 5 hits a day from Google for the first 2 months, and it has increased into double digits this month. This week, it is really catching fire. I am now up to 20% traffic from Google. A lot of it has to do with instituting dynamic title pages. For anyone using Blogger, dynamic page titles for posts (instead of just the name of your blog) are key. Here is a link on how to do that: http://www.grrajeshkumar.com/2007/02/27/how-to-create-unique-page-title-for-new-blogger-template/
The more you work on your site and links the more traffic you will get. It is nice to see your hard work starting to pay off.
I had no idea about the dynamic page title thing, i'll defintely have to check that out for the blog i'm starting, thanks alot!
It's good to know that your hard work started paying off. More work on your site will bring you more results. Cool stuff!
Yep happens all the time. One of my project sites leapt from 5 visits to 92 from search engines in last two days. Read my analysis of what happened. It just takes time to rank and although this time is only about a month or so people are usually too anxious to get in going fast
Yup...having a title relevant to the content that is on the page is by far the best "bang for your buck" seo technique out there. Congrats...you're on your way.
