SEO Manual? is there a step by step guide

OK i own www.electronicservie.co.uk and i want to SEO-it , so i'm just curious as to weather there is a step by step guide to SEO, so basically like a manual you would get with your TV to set it up etc?

So basically im looking for a basic SEO manual with all the fancy web pitures of where the best tags go etc etc.

There are plenty of guides on SEO available on the web. You may want to simply do a search for SEO manual and see what shows up. Look at a few of these and look for the common information in the few you select. You would think that if they were able to optimize their sites to the top of the search engines for a search engine marketing subject, they probably have a clue about how to optimize.

The thread refered by ssandecki is a very good material for understanding SEO. It is a free resources but don't think it is not valuable.

Look there are e-books that you can find on the web that will tutor you on the basics of SEO.But then it has been 10 years since SEO has started and today it is different game altogether.Every day or the other you would have tools,tips,techniques,strategies and suggestions being made to improve your web-prospects marketing wise.What I would suggest is that you go through some basic SEO blogs from recommended authors who have been monitoring the web since the birth of the internet,subscribe to newsletters and try posting in forums whenever you have problems.keep moving and have patience,the more you implement the more you get acquainted with the web.Remember internet is the biggest field through which you could launch you business.Proper SEO implementation will get you rich rewards.
