    Hi

I have a copy of the SEO Made Easy by Brad Callen. It is from 2006 if I am not wrong, and I wonders wether it still applies today. It's almost two years ago since it's written, so I guess Google (or the other SE's ) might have changed their criterias for ranking well and all that.. So, have they? Does the tips and tricks this ebook tells of still work?

    Thanks :)

Umm, well, logically times change. I'm sure it has some basic ideas that are still useful today, but algo is changing all the time, as well as technique. Find some new ebooks, or articles, to learn more from..

Personally I avoid eBooks all together, if it wasn't good enough to get published there is a reason why :)

There are actually no tips in that book really, just some old school suggestions, most of the suggestions are tho valid and can be still applied, but whats on that book is nothing you won't be able to find on the internet. Why the ebook is so well promoted is because it can be easily implemented an affiliate link to SEO elite.

Trapped is right, is a good if you are green but the ebook is nothing more than a promotional tool.
I have found there are only two things that are worth buying for SEO, software and paid backlinks.
everything else is readily available for free on forums ect.

Well, other than I am a stompernet fan.

IMO, the ebook was written for a specific purpose in selling the author's SEO Tool. However, it does cover some basic SEO knowledges that may be useful for newbies. There's nothing wrong just to read it!
