I have website with a lot of backlinks. My site on php without cms. Links look like /metatrader-expert.php
and have a lot of backlinks.
I would like to install cms (opencart) and seo module. Links will be look like /metatrader-expert
Should I set 301 redirect from metatrader-expert.php to metatrader-expert or vice versa to save backlinks?

i have been into seo for more than 5 years now. Believe me, to save backlinks set 301 redirect from metatrader-expert.php to metatrader-expert.

maybe best way is create 2d level domain for each category and adjust 310 redirect from pages with backlinks to 2d level domain names?

    For example:
    /metatrader-expert.php 301 redirect to metatrader-expert.mydomain.com
    /metatrader-indcators.php 301 redirect to metatrader-indicators.mydomain.com

    ?

Ashley has posted an answer to the question "Back Links":
You need to 301 redirect the old location to the new location to save backlinks.
I'd do that rather than create multiple subdomains - they really don't seem necessary or helpful in this case.
