ok, this site is a client of mine. ceus4casemanagers.com check out there page and roll over the links and see the SAME code behind each link. Since this code has gone on here, the PR has fallen, and the keyword placement has fallen. Do you think the reason for this could be the link code. Its on the page atleast 100 times. they use this code to track referals from other sites. I believe this code is the reason they have fallen. Thoughts...?
ooh nasty, doing a site command shows 395 pages. The internal linking now has changed dramatically so I would be worried about confusing google with duplicate content and yes in the process the internal linking pr is lost on the old indexed pages as they are no longer linked to so those pages may well lost rankings which you are seeing. For example the contact page is listed in google as /contact.asp But now on the site its linked to as: /contact.asp?quid=RMFYPGPEIA720200615850 type of thing. That needs to be removed, I would certainly say its doing harm to their previous pr/serps.
I aggree. Since I thought the same thing, I have put up a site map with regular links. http://www.ceus4casemanagers.com/sitemap.asp and the pages have begun to get indexed again. It was down to 105 at one point. This is now providing proof and the owner of the site will see these responses. Thanks Steve
