Hey guys my site is http://www.juicingforum.co.uk

i was just wondering if you could tell me if im doing anything wrong, such as the robots and no follow is something i still dont understand. This site is getting very poor traffic, im adding more unique content day by day to the herb guide etc.

i just dont know where im going wrong, ive got google webmaster tools and sometimes its showing 3 entrys such as cucumber juice benefits being 8th etc then next day its gone.

Do you have a sitemap.xml file?

Don't worry about a robots file unless you want to.

I would delete the links directory (even though its empty).

 

im waiting on a few backlinks from relevant juicing sites so once im up on their links will be added.

i dont have a sitemap.xml file how would i go about doing one of them and for what purpose is it for?

Sitemap would be good to get the search engines to crawl the unique contents faster.

 

thanks, i forgot about doing site:, i just wonder why its not getting much traffic at all around 100 a day which isnt really good enough. All unique content written by myself aswell.

 

There is no sitemap and no robot.txt

 

create xml sitemap for better indexing.and promote your forum in all the other forums, social networking sites.

 

there is an automatic tool.just type xml sitemap generator in google.you will find the tool, then give your site url.that tool will generate an xml sitemap for your site

install this sitemap your root directory ( default : /public_html )

ok ive added it to my root directory and added it on google.

can anyone tell me what adding a sitemap does to help?

also if anyone can give me any other ideas where im going wrong with the low traffic that would be great.

i just dont really know where im going wrong minus lack of back links which alot of the top competition dont have anyway.

i seem to get little to no traffic daily, with adding more and more unique content daily. Ive had many successful sites before but this one has been a challenge.
