no, seo is not the only way to get good ctr. 1) niche forums are as good or better than search engines for getting targeted traffic. 2) good page design, developed by proper channel stats. 3) remember than dwelling on ctr instead of epc will often lower your earnings, because of the so-called "smart pricing"... do not use scammer tactics to trick people into clicking on your ads.
1. OK but to do that, we need traffic first so people will put our links in forum, right? It will consume too much time if you do this manually.
i take my site as example : almost 80% visitors from search engine since im not strive for SB and never doing video marketing. The CTR is quite ok but i need to change the ads placement regularly since the same visitor come to read my blog so the ads become one of their blind spot.
No, what I mean is why don't you just focus more on SEO or other method? Do you think posting in forums really worth it? And how to do that? You can't put your links in your signature because the admin/moderator will delete it (if that forum has many traffic)
Link building (even if it is on forums) IS part of SEO. Don't only post on forums... make comments on blogs, etc. It's all part of the process. And what are you talking about links in signature?! Look @ everyone in DP. A majority of people have links in their signature. A fresh website needs links to get indexed quicker. People also sell their signature space for money just to get more links/etc.
that's called epc, or earnings per click, and it's very important... more important than ctr, as far as i'm concerned.
