SEO is pretty simple.. Here are some things I'd like to point out, cause' it annoys me how many people are listening to all the crap that is written out there on forums, blogs and crappy e-books. Most newbies (not that I'm a guru) but I do pay attention to SEObook, google webmasters section and all the well known SEO forums. So as I've said SEO is pretty simple really... You just need to understand a few factors before you even buy Your Domain. I've done tons of mistakes over the past year.. but lets just get it straight.. It's never too late.. things can be straightened up! We can all get better results.. SEO is not about luck, hidden secrets or any magic fairy that will place your site on the top of the search engine listings just because You want to. The purpose of this post is very simple.. I got annoyed with all the bullsh*t that is being posted here & there everyday. What works for me... what works for him or her .. that is total nonsense and I hope people won't get tricked. Just before I give a short brief explanation in my own words of what SEO is .. I'll have to point one thing out... "Search Engines Aren't Perfect". Ok.. If you decide to start your own website from scratch or attempt to improve your ranking for an existing domain you better pay attention to this, or you'll end up wining about you lack of skills or earnings in 5 years time from now on. * You need to develop a keyword strategy, if you want to target your searchers. * You need to build a well structured website. * You need to create good content and do on page optimization. * You need to promote your website every single day, and get the link juice from the rest of the web. Blogs - Directories - Social Networks .. etc (This way you'll grow in the eyes of google). * Avoid using black hat & gray hat SEO methods. Once you get caught you'll start pulling your eye balls out of your head. Last step .. Get to work! If you don't understand the terms I've put in BOLD you can easily google them. Don't even buy your domain until you do your keyword research. The domain should contain your targeted keywords. This one you may know already but SEO is all about quality and not quantity.
