It seems that even some of the big companies are being penalized by Google and the most recent and one of the biggest example of this is SEO Inc. one of the biggest companies in the SEO industry got penalized by Google in this PR update, a couple of months ago SEO Inc. had a high PR and now in the this recent (July 14) update all of of its pages (including the home page) have a PR 0. Strange isn't it!

It means that if do something wrong you will be penalized by Google it doesn't matter how big company you are if you have made the mistake then you will have to pay the price. But the question now arises is that why Google penalized them. Why?

I would like to know your views and what you feel!

    Ouch that's gotta hurt.

Not only a total PR loss, but they're not anywhere on the first several pages for the terms 'seo' or 'seo inc'

888 was also penalised by the removal of its pagerank score. However it is important to note that they still rank highly for major terms, so doe is really matter?

I guarantee that within a week their PR is back to normal. A ton of sites had their PR adjusted recently. It many cases, a sites PR dropped to 0 and then went back to it's normal rank again within a week or 2. I can't imagine that a company that large would even allow themselves to do something stupid. Has to be a result of the recent PR update and a glitch is all. Just my ho.

IMO, the PR issue isn't that big of a deal. Their biggest problem is their drop in the SERPs. For a SEO company, that's kind of important.

Ya thats what I am saying if they are that much big company and their PR drops then this isn't that big deal but what about rankings? That matters and that hurts!
