SEO in 2025: Original Articles May Not Boost Competitiveness

    As times evolve, SEO has been continuously changing and developing. From 2011 to 2025, it went from the simplest approach where any link could boost Google ranking competitiveness, to today, where even the best original articles fail to improve website rankings. In fact, excessive posting of original content can even lower rankings. My website, Leads4Pass, has experienced this situation.

    My personal compromise:
    I no longer deliberately chase rankings. All original content I publish is centered around customers, and I aim to shift the situation through my social interactions and careful communication. As for Google’s natural rankings, I let them change naturally.

    • Google’s Algorithm Changes: Frequent updates have altered ranking priorities, sometimes favoring engagement metrics over pure originality.

    • Clickless Searches: More users find answers directly on search result pages, reducing the need to visit websites.

    • Paid Ads Dominance: Organic results are pushed lower on search pages, making visibility harder to achieve.

    Hi everyone,
    I agree that simply publishing original articles might not be enough to stay competitive in SEO today. Search engines have become smarter and now prioritize user intent, content relevance, and overall experience over just originality.

    In my experience, combining high-quality original content with:

    Strategic keyword research,

    User engagement elements like videos and interactive content,

    Proper technical SEO,

    And consistent backlink building

    is the key to maintaining and improving rankings in 2025.

    Also, leveraging data analytics to understand what your audience truly needs and adapting content accordingly is becoming increasingly important.

    أقوم بإدارة منصتين موجهتين للخدمات مقرهما في الكويت:
    • https://car-service-kw.com (إصلاح السيارات وورش الصيانة المتنقلة)
    • https://homelykw.com (خدمات وصيانة منزلية)

    رغم أننا اعتدنا على نشر محتوى طويل الأمد أسبوعيًا، إلا أنه لم يكن له أي تأثير يُذكر حتى اقترن مع:
    • الكلمات الرئيسية المستهدفة جغرافيًا
    • الإشارات الاجتماعية (خاصة من TikTok و Instagram)
    • استراتيجيات الربط الداخلي
    • الأهم من ذلك: الروابط الخلفية الطبيعية من المنتديات، وأدلة المواقع المتخصصة، والمدونات المحلية

    ما ساعد حقًا هو المشاركة في المنتديات ذات الصلة (مثل هذا المنتدى!) بفاعلية وإضافة الروابط فقط عندما تناسب النقاش. مع مرور الوقت، كان لهذه الروابط الخلفية تأثير ملحوظ في تحسين محركات البحث.

    لم يعد المحتوى وحده هو الملك - السياق والاتصالات أصبحت بنفس القدر من الأهمية الآن.
