SEO & images: All images in one folder or in different folders with relevant names?

    For SEO purposes, is it best to have ALL images in one image folder?

    Or is it better to have images (with relevant keyword-rich names) in a folder with a similar or matching name? IE if your site sells electronics, putting an image named "laptop.jpg" in a folder named "laptops" with the other html pages that deal with laptops, such as laptops.htm, mac-laptops.htm, etc.

    it is not necessary. alt text of images it s very imp.. if in the image is a laptop, the alt text of the image needs to be "laptop"
