Hello, I am considering purchasing a website that has excellent positioning on Google for some very competitive keywords. My question is: Will the domain transfer or any other factors affect the Google search engine results placement? Is there a good way to keep the SERP and transfer the site to us? Is it a country code TLD domain we are speaking here or a top level domain? Also, it could be possible that your rankings would be affected (but for a small time) in case the google bot tries to crawl the site and it is not available during the transfer of the site. If non of those problems occur (such as googlebot find your site unreachable during transfer possibly) than everything should be fine as long as you keep the same URL structure, title, description etc...but once you buy a site you have to ask all informations on backlinks and do they need to be maintained.
