I have kept this strategy as a secret for too long now, and I think it’s time to share it with you. It is proven effective and efficient if you’re adding up some dofollow links to your link profile. This strategy is creating dofollow links through blog commenting and trackbacks via blogs with SquareSpace platforms. If you are a devotedly serious white hat SEO’er or simply want clean links and don’t want your website hit by any Google update, then you might want to build links of this type. Also, if you want free stuff instead of buying gigs off Fiverr and SEOClerks. Every SEO professionals have their own strategies, and I did not write this for you to religiously apply or follow. Please keep in mind that each and every website that you are trying to rank for should be treated differently with discretion. One thing I beg of you. Please use this strategy in moderation. Let us not spam these websites to death, or they will be forced to close the doors. The saying “too much of anything is bad” is a fact so please be professional enough in using this strategy. Keep everything in moderation. Dofollow Blog Commenting Links Link building through blog commenting is pretty simple. It is probably the most basic type of link building. I suppose not all of you are advanced SEO’ers. So here’s a brief description of the two types of backlinks – (1) dofollow which boosts SEO performance and (2) nofollow which generates targeted and referral traffic. There are endless debates about their effects on search engine optimization, which one is better, etc… but we’re not going to discuss that. In my opinion and experiences, these two are important to make a link profile look natural and thus boost the target website’s searchability in the SERPs. Okay, let’s do it! This is fun and easy because the rate of approval is 90% even if your comment is generic! Why? Because most of them are in auto approve mode. However, always make sure your comment is related to the post’s topic for better results. Use the following search parameters: *KeyWord inurl:blog “powered by squarespace” or *KeyWord “powered by squarespace” *Replace KeyWord with your desired keywords When you see a comment form like this then you’re good to go: Or something like this Creating Dofollow Trackbacks or References This method is the same as the first one. In my opinion, this one is better as you can input your desired anchor text. Don’t forget to mix up and vary your anchor texts to avoid getting Penguinized! USE THE FOLLOWING SEARCH PARAMETERS: KeyWord inurl:blog “My response is on my own website” or KeyWord “My response is on my own website” *Replace KeyWord with your desired keywords You will find the same exact form to add a comment. Then click the “My response is on my own website” link. You will then have the form below to fill out. What you need to fill out: Article Title – the anchor text Article URL – the link Site Name – the websites name Site URL – it’s optional but I always put the homepage Author Name – any name would do Hit create reference and voila! You’re done! Here’s a sample of what I did: http://wtflucerne.org/blog/2012/10/17/search-engine-optimization-in-tourism.html. This is a dofollow backlink with my desired anchor text. This is a PR5 website and the link is in an SEO related post. It will pass a good amount of link juice back to this post.
