C class IPS generally cost bout 20-30 each year. If you have a network of 3-4 sites (Small) I would recomend one each once they gain a decent PR/ranks. If you run a mass network than I recomend a nice handful to start of with. Giving a couple of the hgih ranked sites an ip each and spread the others through the other sites. This will allow u to receive the most from ur own links. In answer to question: Yes I believe it could be worth it.
