I am new to this. Currently I have been using yahoo search marketing and it is a bit costly mainly because i am only paying for clicks and no purchases. I know there have been like only 9 clicks in a day out of over 2500 impressions. Plus the fact that yahoo has certain policies regarding what you sell. Anyway how does SEO differ from ppc? is SEO a free service or does it have to be paid for? I have noticed that not all websites advertise through PPC since some of these websites appear on the main front page of the search engine. In PPC, the advertiser had to simply enter and bid on some keywords and that would show up on the yahoo search engine depending on highest bid and keyword relevance. Its that simple but costs are high. I want to avoid these costs or think of an alternative way of online marketing using specific keywords as in the case of advertising through yahoo search marketing but without the costs or lower costs. So is their a way for my website to appear on 1st page when a user types in a keyword such as horror t shirt, funny t shirt etc? please advice. Thank-you!
