Hi all,

I am trying to optimize a new web site - www(dot)websitestatscounter(dot)com
I have found some good keywords. I have added a blog. I will ad links to home page cause it does not have. I will remove the links on the left side cause i belive they ruin the ranking.

Do you have any other ideas apart from changing the meta tags?
The competition for this niche is very tough.

This is actually a huge problem for me. I do not know how to make backlinks. The only option I know is by submitting press releases and articles. But somehow I do nto feel this is enough. I could use a little help on this too.

Try submitting to directories.
Carry less weightage, but then a link is still a link.

As I know it is good to submit in Yahoo directory but it is paid.
Dmoz is also fine I guess?

kkkrisss why dont you just make people add a link from their home page to you in return for a free counter? Then you get backlinks fast.

 

Or even add a link to your site in your counter code.

The counter is actually free.
There are paid accounts but everyone can get a free one as well.

kkkrisss, I realise thats its free, but I would say a backlink to you is a good deal in exchange for a good counter. Maybe you could just ask people to provide a back link if they use your counter, not so much a mandatory thing just a 'please help to keep this counter free by adding a link to the counter site'??? You never know!!!!

 

Try to work out on your Content... Focus your targeted keywords on your ON page Optimization.
