Yeah the whole idea of H1-2-3 etc. is simply to have a well written page of content. For an article/post, your content should be broken down and arranged just like a proper document. The information needs to be arranged and sorted in a hierarchy from broad (H1) to more specific. For example: <H1>The English Language</H1> <H2>Parts of speech - Verbs, Nouns, Adjectives, Adverbs ...</H2> <H3>Verbs</H3> <H4>Simple Past</H4> <H4>Present Perfect</H4> <H4>Present Progressive</H4> <H3>Nouns</H3> <H3>Adjectives</H3> <H3>Adverbs</H3> You should only have one H1 on each page.
You should not only focus on H1 tag but for h2 tags also in the articles or content you write in your site or blog. H2 and H3 tags brings a good amount of traffic too..
Okay, so you're using WordPress. Leave the Theme code alone because the latter will throw a parsing error. In the Dashboard, go to the Page or Post you want to create/edit and put your keywords there. In most Themes, the H1 will be the site's title, but in yours it looks like the Page Title. Just go to the Title area of the Page/Post Dashboard and enter a short phrase that'll contain your keywords, such as this example. "12 WordPress Security Tips You Never Heard Of" Obviously "WordPress Security" and "WordPress Security Tips" are the page's main keywords; they're also written in such a way that they'll get people's attention and compel them to read further. Since you're using the All In One SEO Pack, you'll be better off using that title as the page title. You could also use this as a title via the All In One SEO Pack "How to Secure Your WordPress Installation in 12 Easy Steps" Just make sure you choose a strong supporting top-level heading to compliment it (again, put this in the post title area).
You should optimize 2-3 words per page and in your hdg 1 tag the keyword you wish to rank for in that page should go there and your other two kw's maybe in your subheading title.

Okay, "Home Title" is the <title></title> tag for the site's home page. Same with the home description -- that's the META description for the home page. What you put in those form inputs will only be shown on the home page title and META description, and on no other pages.
have you looked online about SEO. There is plenty of information for beginners which will help you optimise your site and get it ranked with Google. Doing link-exchanges is the cheapest way for you to get your site indexed.
