hi, the first and very basic things which i would like to suggest is, ask some question to your self... like - why some one join your site or spend money in your site - Whether your visitors will get any benefit of it or not - Whether they will be interested in your products or services or not... if you are providing services which attract people to spend money for than and than it is worth to spend in SEO. See only traffic is not important but it must be converted in to sell..
I think you need to do a better job at keyword research. Your link anchor text uses various related phrases, but they aren't necessarily terms that you could easily rank well with. So keep getting more backlinks, but try to focus on easier keywords.
