SEO Help on Keywords

I am absolute newbie to SEO and honestly I wish I could just focus on content for my websites more than SEO, but non-the-less I want traffic on my site.

My PR is 0, but my understanding is it only updates about quarterly and I am striving to get my SEO the best I can.

So I start running various SEO tools and validators -- and its completely and utterly insanely information overload.

Does anyone have any good resources for keywords? I have the following problems with my SEO regarding keywords:

Keyword Presence in the TITLE tag - 4 keywords are missing
Keyword Presence in headings (H1-H6) - 4 keywords are missing
Keyword Presence in the page URL - 4 keywords are missing
Keyword presence in the description tag - 1 keyword is missing
Keyword Presence in Alt Attributes of images - 5 keywords are missing

Also I get errors like:
Found no robots meta tag.
title: not found - That might not be an HTML page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated -- I am using check-domains and online.webceo.com

I would recommend you not to worry so much about this technical data. Just make a good content, relevant to your keyword and try to get exposure for your site, some natural backlinks from all kinds of sites. Google is smart enough to know how to rank your site.

Thank you so much AJ. This is exactly what I wanted to here. I am making 100% unique and I would argue interesting content (to people interested in personal finance/investing) and I'm tired of getting the run down by people that my website is not validated or SEO'd.

One final question -- will my PR ever get better without focusing on SEO?

Adding the keyword within the title will help and perhaps the URL, what you need to keep in mind is not to stuff your keyword onto a page loads of times, generate content for readers first and search engines second.

Using a CMS such as wordpress is designed to help noobs with such issues... try using a CMS that is already configured properly. A title is very important - you definitely need title tags to tell Google what your post or pages subject is about... it's better to get on top of such issues before your site is to big and you need to fix to many pages at a later date... I know this from experience... one day you're gonna realize where you went wrong and the only option will be updating to a proper CMS/Wordpress and you'll lose all your hard work... so get on top of this early.

hi.
Content is a king, so it must be unique and original. Your keyword must be relevant to your site and title.
