Hello, I need a some SEO advice here. I recently made some changes to my site, and i changed my inner page URL's around a little bit to reflect the new keywords i'm targeting. On the most recent PR update, i lost all the PR for my inner pages where the URL's have changed. For example, here is what i did: Old URL: www.mysite.com/old-target-keyword.htm New URL: www.mysite.com/keyword/new-target-keyword.htm I have a windows hosting account, so i had to use H-Sphere CP to redirect the old urls to the new pages (i don't have an .htaccess file, i made a permanent redirection for the old pages to the new URL's). I thought this would pass the PR along, but it didn't. Does anyone have any ideas on how long it takes to get the PR back (i know i won't see it till the next update)? Just wanted to know how long i can expect a hit in SERP's due to changing these URL's around. I have noticed my SE traffic has dropped considerably since i changed the pages. However, my main page's PR has increased from PR4 to PR5 on the latest update, and i have almost 3K backlinks to my site. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
try to do internal linking of your pages and it's sure now you can't get back your PR but you should start work on them then they will get PR again in next update
so just get backlinks to the inner pages? I was hoping that the main root page's PR5 would pass on to the other inner pages like it did before. I do have rather well inner linking amongst all of the pages...
