SEO Help - Inner pages lost PR in most recent update

    Hello,

I need a some SEO advice here. I recently made some changes to my site, and i changed my inner page URL's around a little bit to reflect the new keywords i'm targeting. On the most recent PR update, i lost all the PR for my inner pages where the URL's have changed. For example, here is what i did:

    Old URL: www.mysite.com/old-target-keyword.htm
    New URL: www.mysite.com/keyword/new-target-keyword.htm

I have a windows hosting account, so i had to use H-Sphere CP to redirect the old urls to the new pages (i don't have an .htaccess file, i made a permanent redirection for the old pages to the new URL's). I thought this would pass the PR along, but it didn't.

Does anyone have any ideas on how long it takes to get the PR back (i know i won't see it till the next update)? Just wanted to know how long i can expect a hit in SERP's due to changing these URL's around. I have noticed my SE traffic has dropped considerably since i changed the pages.

However, my main page's PR has increased from PR4 to PR5 on the latest update, and i have almost 3K backlinks to my site.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You may try inner link building methods.

so just get backlinks to the inner pages? I was hoping that the main root page's PR5 would pass on to the other inner pages like it did before. I do have rather well inner linking amongst all of the pages...
