SEO guild lines for beginners

    I started a new blog and i'm a new-bie to article writing, somehow i could mange to write some articles and posted them into my blog, i want some guidance from all you guys to improve my SEO knowledge and this will helps others as well. Please start from "A", cuz i'm quite new to SEO.

    I'll start with on-page:

    1. Use a target keyword
    2. Throw some natural supporting keywords in there
    3. Use the target keyword in the following places:

    - Title
    - Description
    - Copy
    - Decorate it a few times
    - Page name, i.e keyword.html
    - ALT tags with good descriptions too
    - Keep the density between 2% and 5%

    That's about it for basic on-page factors and SEO.

    This is really good, is it necessary to keep the density between 2% and 5%? Go ahead , i really want to know more... thanks

    Don't forget to put the target keyword in the h1 tags, too. And it never hurt to have backlinks.

    You can collect backlinks from Directory submission, social bookmarking, article, press release submission etc...

    Post only relevant topic article on your blog the article must keywords reach. Also submit your article to ezinearticles, go article and put your blog link on the author section.

    Back links have everything to do with search engine optimization. While keyword optimization is a crucial first step, back links are what will really increase your visibility. Focus on getting links from websites with high Page Ranks and relevancy to your topic.
