Seo Guest Post Question

Hi to all!

I got a serious question and need an answer from experts. I am building a blog, I do create blog posts that i have seen in hrefs is easy to rank, I am trying to contact high da websites for a guest post.

Is this going to help the website rank ?

The answer is maybe. There are so many more ranking factors to focus on than backlinks. This is a list of what I'd focus on.
1. Technical SEO - server, pagespeed, LCP, Javascript, etc. Lot of people are unaware of or forget about this. (pagespeed insights/gtmetrix)
2. On-Page SEO - H-tags, meta descriptions, image optimization/alt text, NLP, create a better piece of content than competitors on page one of the SERPs (Surfer SEO for example). Move main keyword(s) to the beginning of the title, include main keyword(s) in the URL while keeping as short as possible.
Last - backlinks

If the first two are completed well, you will need less backlinks than if they were done poorly. For some queries you might not even need any backlinks to rank well. You'd be surprised how many sites have sub-par technical and on-page factors completed. Having a well-rounded site will protect you more from algorithm updates than those that only focus on backlinks.

Going after easy to rank keywords is a wise idea when starting out. Just don't jump around with different topics (common mistake), you want to start and complete a topical map, then move on to the next topic or category. You'll see results faster when sticking to creating topical authority, rather than writing about 20 different topics, even if they are easy to rank.

 

Only if you are getting links from real website ..... Make sure that backlinks are not from any PBN otherwise Google can slap your website and most of guest poster selling PBN links only.

 

My gmetrix is 99% - with score A, I am using rankmath free version to make any corrections and i get 81 to 65 score average on every blog post i put out there. Right now got 5 posts, the website is pretty new but i got plenty of experience so i believe i am doing it the right way.

Another question

I understand that for easy to rank keywords maybe i will not need any backlinks. Since the website is very new, how much time will it need to be shown at google search console that it evens exist on seprs? Will be 1 mont - 3 months - 1 year?

Depend on your niche market and information you are sharing with people mean content ..... If your content is unique and informative according to keywords then site can rank within week or have to wait for long time.

 

Sounds like you got the basics down.

If you've submitted a sitemap in GSC those 5 posts should show up in a few weeks. Use this operator in Google search- site:yourdomain.com and see what shows up. I know there were indexing issues last year, not sure if that's still the case.
