SEO friendly URL - pattern

Hello Friends,

Need opinion :

if somebody is searching for category in search engine :

then which url wil be more seo friendly ?

http://www.site.com/companyname_category.html

http://www.site.com/category/company_name.html

Second would be more seo friendly.

 

I think second one too.because your keyword comes more closer to beginning.only if your category is more relevant to your keyword.

 

However each time you include a \, the less chance of ranking...just an observation.

 

That's a tough one... but I would have to go with the second one also.

 

for me the second one is better, but using the dash (-) and keyword of your niche is the best.

 

Second also, having the words seperated I think will work better.
