I've been working on setting up a new site using joomla over the past week, and a concern of mine is that types of urls it generates. with the "seo-friendly urls" option turned ON, the urls are something like: domain.com/content/view/13/27/ I can't imagine what seo-unfriendly ones would look like, but my question is: i always read that dynamic urls, and urls not ending in .html or .php, whatever, are taking a risk at not doing well on the big three search engines. thoughts?

Hi I want to recommend a joomla seo Plugin: Smart SEO look for it at JED or at "JJextensions" Website This plugin gives you the ability to control META TAGS and TITLE of all pages and component in your joomla websites.
I have joomla on may web sites that I have developed and have always used the SEO Settings under under Global Configuration and have got my sites like domainname.com/what-is-seo and so on. It worked fine with me, just have to change the configuration.php file and add you full URL under the live_site settings and re-upload file via ftp
