Hi, i wonder why one of my sites can't get good rank in Yahoo although it is ranked first in a competitive keyword. I have learned a lot about SEO from this forum and some good blogs but usually they taught us about SEO for Google. Yes, it works. But I want to know what is seo for yahoo, can I get a good article about it?
I don't have enough knowledge about SEO, i am new but a I have a site get a good rank in Yahoo!. My friendly SEO told me that just post in the Yahoo directory and gain an authority to technorati.com, it's work now my site has rank in yahoo! try it dudes...hope your site will get a good rank also..
You do not have to care about Yahoo a lot if you rank well in Google. Because yahoo and MSN won't send you so much traffic as Google can. Still I think that you have to get as much back links as you can to rank well in Yahoo. And you must be listed in Yahoo directory.
I usually SEO for Yahoo and Google appears to like it as well. I guess the SEO does not flow the other direction. Anyways, here is a good place to get you started: How to Optimize for Yahoo!

if the site is working really well in Google, there's a high possibility that your site can also do good in Yahoo.. Though SE's do have their own ranking factors, i believe that all of them is in favor of quality links and quality content
