Just wanted to ask you guys, does the common fundamentals of getting ranked or optimizing the site for in Google apply to Yahoo as well? Is there any implementations of SEO strategy specific to Yahoo SE?

one thing I've noticed, yahoo likes to rank sites for keywords that are in the domain aka keyword matching in domain, you can get away with 6%+ keyword density with yahoo, but I'm not sure if it makes a difference. Just focus on quality banklinks as usual, and plus, you do not want to alienate google while optimizing for yahoo, as you will get about 10 more traffic from google, cheers!

Many times it easy to get indexed and rank on yahoo than on Google. Google has been continuously tailoring their indexing and ranking algorithms which makes old traditional SEO efforts in vain.

Focus on basics, not on search engines. What works for one will apply to the other as well.

good question. I find traffic to my blog from google is like 500 times that of yahoo! perhaps, the reason for this is that i tend to optimise for google and hope that yahoo and the rest will follow?

First thing that Yahoo looks same back links as Google look them, just Yahoo give wattage to some link less or some links more then Google. Want to rank on Yahoo is not a big issue, Just start commenting on blogs and social media sites ,as Yahoo now showing bing search results so i think optimize for bing , it will optimize for Yahoo also.

Optimization of the different events and pendentives oldugunu think yahoo. I see at foreign sites because I hit my 60% comes from google. Part of other search engines is 10%. Bing vs. yahoo.
