SEO for Wordpress

Hi all,

I'm looking for articles and stories which have helpful strategies and methods for SEO. I've done a few google searches but the articles were written back in 2005. Anyone have any newly updated articles?

Well in respect to Wordpress you should be looking at installing the All-in-one SEO Plugin.
This allows you to create meta title, tags and keywords for each of your posts, also with the ability to tweak other common SEO on-site settings.

Apart from this you should use common SEO techniques as if your site wasn't a Wordpress site.

if you have the budget, search for getsemiologic...it is a wordpress setup on steroids

 

I would take a look around DP forums for some basic SEO knowledge and make sure you have a good SEO plugin for wordpress. I also like the google sitemap maker for wordpress.

 

From my experience I can give you few :

Use All In One SEO plugin
Use the url structure Like : www.xyz.com/category/post
Create backlinks with anchor text
