    It wont work for SEO, indexing or anything... All outbound links have Nofollow... Meaning there useless for SEO. You may get traffic, but thats about it.

    Yes, I agree. Your Idea is just about using yahoo answers for getting a link from that site. We all know that Yahoo answer is No #4 in the world. (according to alexa)

    right, thats why i titled this thread "seo for the very beginner


    right, thats why one should read the FULL post about the social bookmarking site I mentioned. yahoo will get you indexed quickly though, none of my sites showed up on google until i mentioned them in yahoo answers. its a quicker way to getting in the search for sure.

    also yahoo answers is a good way to "plant" info on competitors, people, or your own biz/site, so when people google you, they see the info you planted (yahoo answers posts are usually at the top of searches) :)

    also I see angelinasharma posted some social bookmarking sites.... the site i mention in my post (socialmarker DOT com) posts to 50+ social marker sites, thats what makes it so good :)
