SEO for the big boys

    Think of a mega competitive keyword like "car insurance"

    How do these big companies get to the top on such keywords...and I am surprised no hot shot SEO'er with an affiliate site has not managed to get on the top of page 1....

    If proper seo is done then it is quite possible to get on to top ranking in the GSERP. If a person can build quality backlinks (regularly over a period) then his site will get ranked in top section in the results page.

    The so called "Big Boys" have a lot of money to spend on SEO! Usually buying highly relative links!

    so if I got to number 1 on google for car insurance here is how rich I will be:

    4,000,000 searches a month @ 1% conversion rate
    = 40,000 sales

    Earn £70 a sale - 40,000 x 70 = £2.8m a month (£646,000 a week)...Nice...
