SEO for my website....

This is my first post...so im kinda new to SEO and would love a bit of on page SEO advice for my website www.pokerandroid.net

For seo you need to do good keyword research. Whatever what your site is about target these type of keywords. Also target "long tail keywords" (words that are 3 words or longer) This way you will be able to rank in the search engines easier. The titles of your blog post or pages try to target keywords that people search for. Provide good quality engaging content for your site. If your content is good then it will get shared/liked / and tweeted. But start with your keyword research.

Find less competitive keyowrds, have a look at your competitors websites and google keyword tool, then use those keywords and mix them with synonyms also then you will get good traffic from Google.

 

If you r doing proper seo for your blog or website then u r target long tail keywords by using keywords suggestion tools and using fresh content for your site. it is help u to rank in search engine. you can also do proper SMO for your link. means Share your links in major SMO websites.

 

I've not found any Meta Title & Meta Description Tag on your site. Please try to add those with your keywords.

Optimize your meta tags first, as Sisatel said . Then proceed for the following on page techniques:-

- Writing fresh, unique content
- Including well-researched keywords in appropriate density
- Developing a strong internal linking strategy (Proper anchor text)
- Including a sitemap
- Improving page loading speed
- Optimizing images and videos properly

What more seo do you need, your site is a wordpress (WordPress 3.6.1) , so your seo is mostly a matter of plugins (unless you coded your own theme), so just google "wordpress seo plugins" and you're good to go at max speed .

Some really good advice given by everyone here...lots to do with both on page and off page optimization..just checked my google analytics and my site is on around the 5th page of google for my main keywords..their not that competitive and thought since i had an exact domain for my keyword id be higher so all in all alot 2 do..
