SEO for my website

i am making a website , from scratch ..how do i do SEO for it, like i did the description and keyword but when i type it searches for something else! :/

 

You can't just "do seo", it's an on-going process, you need to first learn how to optimize your website and tweak it accordingly, once you've got that sorted and tweated, you need to build a regular amount of incoming links to your website from related websites to your niche, this is how you get ranked.

 

How do i start?

 

For starting SEO, you need to optimize onpage and offpage and keep on building quality back links to the website.

 

First add quality contents to your site with keywords, this will be called onsite SEO, you can then start link building for you site, but first get a deep search for your specific keywords on you want to work and then proceed.

You should do of-page seo first then on-page you can.

 

Here is my way to get a site moving up the SERPS.
1. Good quality, unique content - keep adding on a regular basis
2. Visual site layout that attracts and keeps visitors - try adding video
3. On page SEO
4. Off page SEO
5. Get more quality backlinks than you nearest competitors
6. Reduce bounce rate
7. Increase visitor time on site

 

Like has been said previously, on-page SEO is what you should start with. Make sure you have your meta tags arranged correctly, if you have a wordpress based site then you can add plugins to help you with this, such as All In One SEO (that's what I use). If it's not a wordpress site then I'd recommend going to w3schools.com to learn a little html if you don't already. Just so you can add the html tags to your page.

You need to make sure that you are updating your website on a regular basis with unique content.

I'd also double check to make sure your code is valid, otherwise search engines may not be able to read your page correctly. You can check this at validator.w3.org

After the on-page seo is complete then begin a link building campaign to build quality links back to your website. You can also outsource these tasks, if you have a little money to spend.

 

after creating meta tags on your website. just submit your website to Google webmaster tools (and also sitemap if you have). And go through with the google webmaster guidelines and make sure that your website comply with the guidelines set by the Google. Once this process is completed, then start creating the high quality and original content of your interest and along with the content creation i would suggest you to get as many backlinks possible to your website. Following are the some of the methods to get backlinks:

One thing is more important google gives higher priority for Off-Page but before it you should decorate ON-PAGE in Proper way then definitely you will be success.

Sorry but you couldn't be more wrong... You are saying that he needs to build links into his site and then sort out the content after...

To answer the OP you need to consider spending some time reading what SEO is, what factors are considered to be vital and then look to see what you should have on your site.

I would strongly advise staying away from Fivver.com with their link wheels and link packages as these are often only providing short term boosts and then crashing into the lower states of search.

As you would with anything, create a strong foundation and do that right otherwise anything built on top would bring it crashing down...
