    Hi,

    I have one query.

Is there any problem (SEO wise) if my site is based on Joomla? I mean to say, will it be difficult to get ranking?

Thanks in advance for your help.

No problem at all. Use sh404SEF component, read some tips on settings and that's it. Works fine for me.

Like funa said, there are some plug-ins that will make your site search engine friendly, but unfortunately Jommla is very tough to get ranked out of the box.

Just edit the keywords meta tag, using this tool:
    https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Then grab a couple SEO plugins and your set!

Out of the box you need seo friendly url's and no follow any external links. Depending on who you are competing with you'd be surprised on how friendly you Joomla site can be.

Then, jwust teak as you go
