SEO for INDIA?

    I bought a .in domain and i intend to target India with it. Any advices for SEO considering the content will be in english?

    Consider your brand and devise the strategy accordingly.
    Local directories, local businesses and your clients would help you in doing your SEO.
    Make use of traditional marketing techniques as well to popularize your website and brand.
    And lastly local press can help you gaining attention of people very much.

    Do as usual normal off page SEO, but just try to collect links and do some social bookmarking, directories etc specially from INDIAN (.in) domains

    Your domain extension already helps- just mix in some .IN links into your backlink profile and you'll be absolutely fine.

    Relevancy works good in SEO, so if you are doing SEO location wise then you have to find sites which are for that location mainly, linking to those sites would help a lot.
