SEO for Images

    Never paid too much attention on images on my websites and would like to know if there is some hidden way to optimize my images for better serps on G images.

    I'm naming all images by the niche im trying to rank and using alt="" and title="" .

    Does websites coding and meta affects images serps or it depends on images only?

    Never build any backlinks to my pics. pages tho

    Is there some other way to improve it?

    I would suggest you read blogstorm.co.uk Patrick has a tutorial on optimizing images for Google.

    Below are 4 things to keep in mind when optimising for google images.

    1. Make sure file name is relevant to image, (I always use the same text for the alt tag)
    2. Alt tag
    3. relevant text around image
    4. Age
