SEO for Google News

    I have a site http://www.campaignindia.in and i want to optimize this for http://www.news.google.com

    Is there any way to optimize the site for Google News?

    please let me know if there sumthing.

    There are a lot of articles about the danger of using Google News as contents
    because of copyright issues.

    Many argue that if G are doing it they can too. G has billions to face legal actions, they
    have billions too?

    To be indexed in Google News your site needs to have been around for a while, you need 'newsworthy' content, which must be original and each page must have at least 3 digitals in the URL.

    And you also have to ask them nicely if they will include your site.

    Your site must exist in time that it will become an authority site. Then and only then that Google will notice it.

    My site is a well know Digital Agency News site in India. Daily news of Indian media agencies are broadcasting on the site. Site name is http://www.campaignindia.in when I type campaign India in news.google.com It shows something different news site.

    Dont you think its a bug of google news?

    I have tried different keywords of the site but the site is no where in Google News.

    I also want to know if there any search ranking tool available for Google news.

    Your site needs also to be consider as an authority site first to be featured on google news.

    Look at PRweb - about £350 to submit to, but it will get you into Google News....
    Depends if the price is worth the ROI you will make - but that your choice :)

    Its very easy to hit google news. Just update your blog very regularly (4-5 posts a day).

    I have a google news site. Some of the above is new. You need a site with fresh original news, obviously. Many points of view, an about us page, a privacy policy.. google it. there's info :)
