Hi - am doing a project with a worldwide freight forwarder.

Since there are many destinations to cover (e.g. airfreight to US or shipping to Los Angeles) I am wondering how to deal with the various destinations?
What are best practices here - do you create content for each possible destination? What about back links? How are the travel sites dealing with that?

    Cheers

This is more to business sector.

You can participate in forums, blogs, article directories, etc in business or trading niche.

Get more back links using various set of keywords.

Try to select two type of keyword lists to target for:
    1. Highly competition keyword (low numbers) 1-10 keywords per campaign
    2. Low competition keywords (high numbers) >10 keywords per campaign

It is difficult to manage multiple destinations covered business. But, there are no short cut to this.

Create nationwide pages and then necessary linked inner pages (city pages) to these. Or create nationwide pages and place city selection option there.
You target country page and main city pages also.

Forum posting and article posting will be best for you, as you need to target many keywords. Target different keywords through different forums. You can write articles based on your targeted keywords.
