I have just created a new site with a forum. I actually only have one page of the site up and the forum itself at the moment. I have a lot of work to do on the site, so I don't want to submit it to Google until I'm finished, but I would like to get the forum going-I have created multiple topics and used good keywords, but I'm not sure about submitting it. Do you do this through site submission or should I go with forum submission. I have checked out a few of the forum submission sites and found that most of them carry a lot of questionable links and site rankings of 1-2, but I suppose it's still better than my current 0, what do you think?
I've never seen "forum submission" sites, I would just submit to directories and article sites. Don't forget to put long descriptions for your forums, at least with vBulletin, those seem to rang quicker than the threads. regards -Brandon
Just quite-well develop your site, invite any credible people and I guarantee you will get natural backlink that most worthed.
I think you should promote your new forum to established forum such as digitalpoint.com and don't forget to set your forum to dofollow where many webmaster love it
